I sent an email off to everyone with the directions for this project and the rubric for the grading of the project.

The project is due when we return from Winter Break.

Thanksgiving Presentations

Each child has been assigned a famous early explorer, mostly from the late 16th Century. I've asked the children to develop a 3-4 minute talk in the first person to introduce the idea of Thanksgiving Day to the rest of the schools. Children may come in costume if they wish. Presentations will be around lunch time, but I don't know the exact time. Anyone with a camcorder is welcome to come and record. It should be fun!
